Phase 2, part 3 of the Communication Suite build: the birthplace moment. Turn on eSIM support, install Cape from Accrescent and activate the eSIM in the owner profile at the café, then test calls and data, save the 24-word recovery phrase, decline the Cape–Proton offer, and run the three checks before leaving: the exit check, the fail-closed check and the recovery check. Demonstrated in the suite's Hardware Lab, so every number, phrase and address in the lab is a training value.

What you’ll learn

  • Activate the Cape eSIM in the owner profile
  • Save the recovery phrase
  • Pass the three checks before leaving

The honest limits

Cape activates only on US soil. Cape is private, not anonymous: it knows the card that pays for it. Without Google Play there is no Cape Network Lock. The lab's values are training values; no purchase occurs.

Check before you rely on it

These details change. Confirm them against the vendor’s current pages.

  • Cape app flow; what is lost without Google Play (push, Network Lock); the Cape–Proton offer.
  • Cape price (~$99/mo), roaming coverage ("50+ countries") and feature list.
  • Cape's documented differentiators.
