The honest part

Private, not anonymous.

The kit narrows what a phone, a laptop and a hotel network give away. Every episode ends with its limits, and the residual-risk register writes down the eleven risks that remain.

In the kit’s own words
  • It reduces the links between a person and their phone. It does not make anyone anonymous.
  • It is not built to protect a phone someone takes and unlocks.
  • The Hardware Lab is a simulator: its results are practice, not proof.
